Project Location / Application Scenario
Steel workshop. Loading of flat plates for direct delivery to the end customer’s site.
Customer Requirement
Flat plates are large and heavy. They must not be bent or scratched during lifting. The plates need to be stably placed onto the semi-trailer for secure strapping to ensure safe long-distance transportation.
Product Model Used
LD Type 5t + 5t Single Girder Overhead Crane with Double Hoists
Problems Solved:
- Lifting flat plates with a single hoist easily causes sagging, deformation and damage to the plates, which leads to defective goods for customers.
- Large steel plates swing heavily with a single lifting point. It is hard to position them inside the trailer and takes a long time for strapping.
- Double lifting points provide even force distribution. The plates stay flat during lifting with less collision and surface scratches.

Project Outcome
The crane has been commissioned and put into loading service. Synchronized lifting by double hoists keeps the flat plates flat and intact. Plates can be positioned quickly for strapping. The fully loaded truck departs directly to the customer. Stable delivery quality and higher loading efficiency are achieved.
