1. Product Overview

This five-bend open W cross member, also known as W-type cross member, is specially used for semi-trailers with specification 80×2.5×2540. It is integrally cold-bent from high-strength steel plate into five wave bends with prefabricated mounting holes. As the transverse load-bearing part of the trailer body, it supports the floor and transfers the weight of the carriage floor to the main beam, serving as a core section steel accessory for the trailer carriage.

2. Application Scenarios

It is mainly applied to lattice semi-trailers, flatbed semi-trailers, container flatbed trailers and light-duty dump trailers. It is suitable for new vehicle assembly and replacement maintenance of old trailers for freight trailers carrying grain, sand, gravel, general merchandise, equipment and other goods. It is supplied to overseas trailer factories and maintenance merchants and exported to markets such as Africa and Southeast Asia.

The whole piece is integrally cold-formed with five bends to form a wavy W shape. Round prefabricated through holes are reserved on the plate for bolt fixing. The open cross-section has folded edges on upper and lower sides to improve its rigidity. It is made of high-strength steel, integrally formed without splicing.
